From Bangkok, Chonburi can be reached via many routes as follows: 1. Bangna-Trat Highway via Highway No. 34 to Chonburi Province. 2. Bangkok-Minburi via Highway No. 304 through the Chachoengsao-Bangpakong route leading to Chonburi Province. 3. Old route, along Sukhumvit Road from Highway No. 3 to Samut Prakan until reaching Bangpakong crossroad. Turn to a road branching off to Route 34 leading to Chonburi Province. 4. By bus. Two bus terminals are available namely: - Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai) Detail: Open daily. First-class air-conditioned buses are available every 30 minutes from 05.20-22.30 hrs. Although travel by train is relatively slow, it offers the safest means of transportation and gives you a chance to admire the beauty of scenery along the way. If travel at daytime, there are hawkers selling food, drinks, fruits and snacks right at your seat. If travel by night, there is a small dining room available on the train. However, there are some disadvantages for travel by train such as the limited number of seats and trains. The central railway station of Thailand is Hua Lamphong. Train service facilities are divided into 3 classes namely first, second, and third classes. From Hua Lamphong Station, there is a single train leaving for Chonburi daily with its destination at Plutaluang Station. Pattaya Station is located at the outskirts of Pattaya City opposite to the entrance to Outer Pattaya.

Tourists can take a flight to Pattaya by landing at U-Tapao Airport in Sattahip. The present flights are operated by Bangkok Airways and Air Andaman. Flights include Koh Samui-Pattaya, Phuket-Pattaya, Hua Hin-Pattaya In addition, there is airport limousine bus service available at North Pattaya Road. Tel. 0-3842-3140. Service charge is 200 baht for travelling to Don Muang Airport by vans and minibuses.
